Terms of service

The agreement between you and Scriptuber. Last updated 10 July 2026.

The service

Scriptuber stores your notes and source material and exposes them to an AI assistant you connect, through the Model Context Protocol.
Script Studio includes a Writing Assistant that rewrites passages you select. Scriptuber does not draft whole scripts on your behalf, and does not publish content anywhere.

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.

Scriptuber Pro costs $19 per month or $190 per year, billed through Polar.
There is no trial period. The Free plan does not expire.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are available on request within seven days of a charge.
A paid Claude or ChatGPT plan is required to use custom MCP connectors, and is billed by that provider, not by Scriptuber.

Scriptuber fetches publicly available transcripts and text from URLs you supply. You are responsible for having the right to use that material.
Scriptuber extracts structure and format from a source so you can build original work. Reproducing a source's wording as your own is your responsibility, not a feature of the product.
Do not use Scriptuber to harass, infringe copyright, or violate the terms of the platforms a source is pulled from.
Do not attempt to access another user's notes, sources, or drafts.

You own everything you write, record, and save. Scriptuber claims no ownership of your notes, sources, or drafts.
You grant Scriptuber only the permission needed to store, process, and return that content to you and to the AI assistant you connect.

Scriptuber is provided as is, without warranty. Third-party providers may fail or change, and features that depend on them may break.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scriptuber's total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.

These terms may change. Material changes will be announced in the changelog, and continuing to use Scriptuber after a change means you accept it.
