Privacy policy

Scriptuber holds your private research corpus, so this page states plainly what is stored, who can read it, and where it goes. Last updated 10 July 2026.

What we store

  • Your account email and name, provided by Google when you sign in.
  • The notes you write or record, their transcripts, and their AI-cleaned versions.
  • The sources you pull (URL, title, transcript or text, and the extracted format).
  • The competitor channels you track and the discovery signals produced from them.
  • The script drafts saved into Script Studio.
  • Usage events recording which AI operations ran, so we can meter provider cost.

Who can read it

  • Only you. Every database table enforces row-level security keyed to your user ID, and the audio storage bucket is private.
  • Every MCP tool call is authenticated over OAuth and scoped to the account that authorized the connector.

We do not train on your content

  • Your notes, sources, and drafts are never used to train machine learning models, ours or anyone else's.
  • Content is sent to a processor only to perform the operation you asked for — transcribing a voice note, cleaning up a note, or extracting a source's format.

Third-party processors

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Groq — note cleanup, source format extraction, and Whisper speech-to-text transcription.
  • Google (Gemini) — the Script Studio Writing Assistant. Only the passage you select, plus a little surrounding context, is sent.
  • Supadata — fetching transcripts and text from YouTube, articles, and X posts.
  • Polar — subscription payments. Scriptuber never sees or stores your card details.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • DataFast — privacy-focused, cookie-less traffic analytics.

Your AI provider

  • When you connect Scriptuber to Claude or ChatGPT, the data returned by a tool call is sent to that provider and governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
  • You control this: the connector only returns data when your AI calls a tool during a conversation you started.

Deleting your data

  • Deleted notes go to the Bin and can be restored. Emptying the Bin removes them permanently.
  • To delete your account and everything in it, email us and we will action it.
