Scriptuber is built in the open by a small team. Here is what has landed recently.

  1. Public MCP connector page and site-wide structured data

    • Added a dedicated /mcp page documenting all 14 connector tools.
    • Fixed the sitemap and social preview images, which crawlers could not reach.
    • Added FAQ, pricing, use-case, and blog pages.

  2. Writing Assistant and dictation in Script Studio

    • Select any passage in a draft, say what to change, and it is rewritten in place.
    • Dictate straight into the editor — speech becomes clean text as you talk.

  3. Full-length cook drafts

    • get_cook_context now returns a source's complete extracted template, not a summary.
    • Drafts match the source's length instead of arriving compressed to half.

  4. User-led cook workflow

    • Your AI presents discovery signals and waits — it can no longer pick a topic for you.
    • Tool results carry next-step breadcrumbs so the workflow stays on rails.

  5. Draft write-back

    • save_draft writes a finished script into Script Studio, and can update one in place.
    • list_drafts and get_draft let your AI read back what it wrote.

  6. Competitor discovery

    • Track YouTube channels and surface videos that outperform their own baseline.
    • stage_discovery_source pulls a discovered video and extracts its format in one step.

  7. Voice notes

    • Record a voice memo; it is transcribed with Whisper and cleaned up automatically.
    • Voice and text notes become one searchable private corpus.
